The enchanting sub-tropical Isles of Scilly

An archipelago of magical islands that lie twenty-eight miles south-west of Lands End, Cornwall. They are made up of more than one hundred islands, five of which are inhabited; St Mary's, Tresco, St Martin's, Bryher and St Agnes. Each has its own unique appeal and once they are visited, locals will ask, "Which is your favourite island?"

Warmed by the Gulf Stream, fringed by beaches of silver sand and clear blue sea, the Islands are an ideal place for tranquillity and relaxation. Scilly offers a wide range of interest within its beautiful natural landscapes; flora and fauna, seabirds, seals, history, picture galleries and craft workshops. Simply explore at your own leisurely pace, or if you're feeling more energetic there are also sport and leisure facilities, including sailing, windsurfing, snorkelling, diving, fishing, cycling and golf.

"Had a lovely time, well looked after. See you next year."       Peter & Brenda, July 2011
